"Hey ppl what say for a picnic on 6th? I have seen a spot similar to JTYJN picnic spot...!", read Vishesh's SMS that he sent on 2nd August. The lukkha that I am nowadays, I agreed to be a part of the picnic group, still sceptical about how JTYJN-ish the picnic spot would be. "...there will be waterside but we can't swim..can just play around.." That was what Vishesh's next message informed me when I asked about where the spot was. Although that didn't really bring down my scepticism, I still looked forward to go.
Finally, on 6th, eight of us "Lukkha-engineers" - Vishesh, Mohtaji, Harshad, Shubhi, Deeps, GG, Jyo and me, went to this "picnic spot", which turned out to be a place just adjacent to the Koradi Thermal Power Station. "What should we call this place?", asked Deepali, when we were sitting there, enjoying the scenery. Let's call it "KPV... Koradi Plant View", someone quipped. So KPV, the place was christened! I later came to know that the place was part of a village called Suradevi.
A little more about the place... The spot itself, didn't have anything too special about it. It was just about another place...Greenery all around... And lots of rocks here and there... There was a steady drizzle when we left from Mohtaji's place, but it stopped by the time we were there. The constant grey cloud cover, coupled with a strong breeze ensured that we had a comfortable time there. We reached by around 2:30 in the afternoon, roamed around for a while, clicked snaps, played games, hogged down snacks, clicked more photos and Bakar-ed all along!
We had taken along cards/ board games to pass time there. Harshad brought along his game of business, but forgot to get the board!!! So we just had the currency notes, tokens, and decks of playing cards. That is when the thought of playing "Teen Patti" struck us!
The child-like interest and enthusiasm with which Gupta and Harshad counted and distributed currency notes of "Bank of Children", really made a funny sight to watch!! :D
The gals weren't familiar to Teen Patti, so it took us time to get them acquainted with the finer points of the game. The next hour or so, was fun with jargon like "pack", "blind", "show" et al being thrown all around!!

On the whole, it was a superb day.... The perfect day for having fun after having spent so many days in utter boredom. Where we went, didn't matter at the end of the day. What we did there, would be forgotten in due course of time. What I'll remember, probably forever; is the awesome time I had that day! Looking back, it just makes me ponder: that being with the right kind of people at the right time can result in magic! Then NOTHING else matters!!
